Social Work

In APU we like to party, travel and have fun, but at the same time, we want you to know different realities of Peru, so that you can have a better overview of the country where you are living for a few months.

APU is helping to PERU NIÑEZ (www.peru-ninez.org) once Saturday a month to bring breakfast to children in situation of poorness and extremely poorness in the area of Pamplona Alta in Lima.

PERU NIÑEZ is a non profit organization run for Carmen Cortez in 1995. They started to doing artistic and cultural workshops for poor children, so that they can express their hopes and dreams through stories that they (the children) created.

Then, PERU NIÑEZ started to bring medical assistance with a team of volunteer doctors, to fundraise money for poor children with cancer, and to bring breakfast to children in poor areas every Saturday.

So far we are just helping them once a month, but it doesn't mean that if you want to help them more often, or even every weekend, they will appreciate it a lot.

At the same time, we are collecting plastic bottle so bring them to PERU NIÑEZ so that they can sale it and make some money for their cause.
